RuffWX Custom ZDR
Here is my custom ZDR table. I've implemented an extended scale (approx. -12 to 20dB), which was introduced with RPG Build 19.0 in the past couple of years. Now much more representative of various clouds / precipitation and non-metr targets. Cheers! -Ruff Read More

RuffWX Custom SW
Here is my Custom SW color table! I set sharp thresholds at 10kt intervals (5kt for just the top-most values), which I found to be useful while completing senior Capstone, which relied heavily on the SW product. Enjoy! -Ruff Read More

The Weather Channel Color Table
The Weather Channel Color Table is a re-creation of the early 2000's era at The Weather Channel. Posted an image of the original color map used on TWC in 2001 during Tropical Storm Allison coverage. This table on air is what inspired the creation of the Color Table you are using on GRLevelX software today. Formally XL Color Table or simply "XL". Read MoreNotes : Original created for StormLab in June 2013, now defunct software as of 2017. Re-created exclusively for GRLevelX in August 2015 and still in use today. Recently re-created for Radar Omega in September 2021.

WSB-TV Channel 2 Base Reflectivity
This is a close match I made of the color table used on WSB-TV in Atlanta. They use Baron for their weather presentations but never show below 15 DBZ and also don't darken the red much going up to 55 DBZ where it typically changes to magenta on a Baron table. Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns has always wanted to stand out from the rest. Read More
