I've been using GRC since the release of the Version 2 products.. My interest in weather goes back to my childhood putting the daily weather maps on index cards and flipping through them. At 7, my first forecast, I asked my parents if I could stay up late because it's going to snow and no school. They said no. The prediction for this nor'easter was rain in north eastern NJ. It snowed over a foot. Dad asked how I knew that. Nantucket line, Dad said what? I like to dabble in the medium range forecasting 3-6 weeks, all significate world weather events and every local event. Now a retired computer science engineer I have more time to get back to my passion, weather. I've done a bit of storm chasing over the years. Mostly Hurricanes. My interest for this site right now is color tables. I've made several tables, just want to refresh some tables in GREarth 3.2.1.0. I do want to explore more of the site and posts.
