Deep Blue & Violet IR

This IR color format runs from white at -100C through plum to dark blue and progressively lighter blues as cloud tops warm. Warmer temperatures range through whites, grays, blacks through dark to hot violets. It does a good job differentiating land forms and subtle differences in ocean temperatures while highlighting clouds.
