Console Cable here systems architect and programmer and mildly now fully obsessed with weather and other environmental factors since well around the same time I got into computers and programming so middle school. I have quite a few different softwares I use but GRLevel3 has been a mainstay. I am working on some new technology for automatically spotting and alerting to weather in my free time but also enjoy (and to an extent have to) manually watch it as well. My area is in a radar hole and without spotters NWS basically cant see in so I watch as storms form before the ridges that make up said radar hole to get the best picture I have of the situation.

I was hoping to get some better color pallets for GRLevel3 and stumbled onto this site. I need a better BR and Velocity. Hopefully I can find one before the storms tomorrow. 

If I won the lottery one of my goals would be to forward a high resolution meteo network of weather stations ( I have a decent design down cost is the factor. Id want them relatively tightly together to gather better localized data could also provide data to AG businesses to help them better asses their field conditions as a way to support this effort and get them on board) and X band radar sites to further storm monitoring and warning capabilities in my region. I call the thing HeRMaN High Resoltion Meso-Net.
